Today was the second meeting of the "Crecy Creekers", a group of neighbours who wanna be, or are already retired. Most of us have known each other for many years, but with working, barely had time to socialise other than the occasional Royal Wedding Street Party, or Christmas drinks.
And so the Crecy Creekers was launched last month over a coffee, our aim is to meet up on the morning of the first Tuesday of each month to socialise. Asking for a volunteer to arrange this months meeting, Lesley said she was happy to arrange a short walk, starting and crucially ending at a pub. She chose The Flower Pot, Aston.
Those who were able to come today.
Anne & John, Lesley, Robert & Pauline. Richard & Janice joined us for lunch
It was lovely walk. I took a few snaps along the route, which gave us great views over The Thames.
